Michael “Rooster” Phelan lives in Richmond, Virginia where he practices law at Phelan Petty, PLC.

Rooster grew up in Milford, CT and was addicted to sports at an early age. He loved playing baseball, football, basketball and hockey and rooting for Notre Dame football, UCONN basketball, the Yankees, Giants, Knicks, and Islanders.

Rooster’s nickname was bestowed upon him by House while the gang were on a group trip to Napa to attend the Bottlerock music festival.  The crew rented a house in Sonoma, which came with a rooster.  This particular rooster positioned itself outside Rooster’s window each morning and sounded off every morning for a solid hour.  After a particularly unhinged rant about murdering the rooster, the nickname was born.
